Once, I learnt something new. From choosing a song for dancing, to choosing a career you wanna pursue, every single day you make decisions.Similarly, talking about the most crucial decision I took was when I did complete my 12th and i was deciding which degree to choose for bachelors. It was a time when my result of ipu University came and I scored 4849 rank in bba and 6000+ in bcom (hons). I was stuck at choosing BBA or bcom hons. I want to go for bcom hons but I see better clg opportunities from bba.According to the analysis, Bba is the better option for getting in management field. And finally the time came and I chose Bba.I got top 8 college in IPU.✨ I learnt that it's better to have a thorough analysis before you choose.Have you ever felt in some situation like me? Let's talk in comments👇

Maths, Science or Commerce?Selecting any ONE of these... on which your entire career depends is really a tough thing! 🥺When I opted for Commerce...Neighbours were like:What made a topper go for commerce?IIT, NIT mein admission nhi chahiye kya?Relatives were like:Maths Science lo, IIT NIT jao..., commerce lekar kya karna hai 🤷♂️But parents were like:Follow your heart & we are with you 💓Today, I just wanna give a big shout-out to myself for opting commerce stream. The student who was nervous to join the commerce stream, due to society's "so called judgements & opinions..."Recently had a great grand entry at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi campus as a GUEST SPEAKER! 😍This is the power of a Chartered Accountant that makes one feel unique, stand tall and fly high.🚀& this journey was incomplete without choosing the COMMERCE stream :)To all the students feeling nervous about choosing commerce, just follow your heart & work hard. You will do great.💜Follow CA Shivam Palan for guidance, mentorship on interview preparation & placement opportunities 🎯#iit

This post concerns a class activity I organized for BBA V semester students at IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus). The topic that we discussed was new product and service development. The class was divided into five students, and they were asked to develop an idea for launching a new service or product. Groups were also asked to defend their business idea before an audience. Much brainstorming was done to come up with ideas, and the audience was very competitive and knowledgeable, and they asked various questions. In the end, the group defended their concept, and the session was very fruitful, helping students understand the process of developing new products and services. #businessidea #classactivity #learningbydoing #bba #ccsuniversity #imsghaziabad

When they said good B schools are all about practical learning, I didn't believe them until i joined Goa Institute Of Management.Every institute, course and Ed Tech startup claims that they're not about theory but about practical learning. Why would this be different? So here's what happened. We were given a case about Kanpur Confectioners Private Limited (KCPL), a traditional family business owned by the Gupta family. The Gupta family had received an offer from a market giant in biscuit manufacturing, APL to outsource the manufacturing of their biscuits. Whether the Gupta family would accept it or not ?Everyone had read the case before coming. In the class, there was no teaching. We jumped right into the discussion. The professor spoke for hardly 20% of the time. 80% was contributed by the students. The first question he asked was “Who are you?”. Everyone talked about their names and backgrounds. But everyone was wrong. “You are not a CA, you are Alok Kumar Gupta”, “You are not an engineer, you are Vivek Gupta” - these were the actual decision makers from the Gupta family. There was a role play at the “dinner table” where the students embodied these roles. It showed us something that was obvious but no one realised it - Decisions are never made purely rationally. It is always a mix of emotion and logic. This was a learning experience that can’t be replicated anywhere else. This was GIM Goa for you. When they say “Practical Learning”, they really mean it.The first lecture by our respected teacher Dr Bhat was like a booster shot in the blood, not a single second I remember when i took my concentration off my case. Totally thankful to be mentored by such greats.#GIM #MBA #PGDM #BDA
