A. Following are the required qualifications to be an interior designer from Pearl Academy:

Since this is a PG program, candidates must have an undergraduate degree in any field. This can be in any subject from Science, Commerce and Arts streams.
Candidates must clear the Pearl Academy Design Aptitude Test (DAT) and General Proficiency Test (GPT).
The DAT evaluates a candidate's aptitude for creativity, drawing, designability, power of observation and imagination, sensitivity to environment and communication skills.
The GPT evaluates a candidate’s proficiency in the English language, Logical reasoning, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation.
This is followed by a personal Interview conducted by Pearl Academy for admission into the Interior Design program.
Candidates are also required to showcase their portfolio in the interview round.

A. The M. Des. in Interior Design program opens several doors to a range of career opportunities. Graduates in the Interior Design Program can work as interior decorators, art directors, interior stylists, property developers, and home interior and design consultants after the completion of the program. The scholarship is strictly merit based and is granted on the basis of a student’s performance in the Pearl Entrance Exam. The scholarship is offered to both UG and PG students seeking admission in Pearl Academy.
