Not anymore!

This restaurants used to be one of my certain stops when visiting Paris, however this is definitely not anymore. The long lines in the door don’t justify the food. The once friendly service became so rude that I felt not welcome there. As the French...says: désoléMore

Delicious French steak frites experience

Delicious meal with a jovial atmosphere. Carnivorous family was very impressed. Lots of wine, meat, and fries. Oh, and there was a salad served at some point too ;) Don’t expect a menu-it’s only steak. You just tell them how you like it done. Vegetarians...look elsewhere.More

Food is good, the vibe maybe not

We arrived at around 7pm which was 15 minutes after opening, there was already a large queue outside! We ended up waiting around an hour before we got into the restaurant. Once inside we were tightly sat between other people and the noise inside is...extremely loud, it’s hard to have a conversation. The food came quickly and was delicious, the steak and chips and the crème brûlée. The only thing about the restaurant is the vibe, very rushed, you feel like you can’t sit there and relax due to the large queue waiting outside to come in. The restaurant itself is also quite small.More

Lunch

Visited for lunch whilst in Paris as it’s always a staple for our Paris visit. A quirky little establishment with great food.

Great food - Long wait

Nice cute restaurant, and food was great. Was super busy , got there at 515 for 6pm open and still waited 2hrs for a table. So if you’re keen on long wait it’s a must!

nice dinner

The service was great, the food delicious and the price very acceptable, the only thing was that we had to stand in line for more than half an hour outside to get a table but it was worth it.

Worth it for experience AND food

Fantastic experience. Good food. Great wine. We got in line at about 6:15 for 6:45 opening and just got a table as a large party of 9. Amazing waitstaff. Save room for dessert!!

Steakhouse that is worth the cost

Very good value for ur money good steak and good fries. Bread and salad was good. Sometimes a long wait but it’s fast once ur seated

Fair price for nice menu

Nice food, fair price. Of course the queue initially took more than a while 😎Afterwards we were served by very kind and beautiful lady. Wine suggested was nice and also dessert a bit expensive, but again nice.

Bad. Very bad.

The entrecote was disgusting. it was simply burned. I don't recommend going here. Unsutisfied 100%. Just waste the time and money.

Not worth the hype!

Firstly, I was very excited to visit this restaurant from seeing the glowing reviews online but I was disappointed. How can they justify charging €29 for two small portions of steak frites? It was basically a full sized portion split into two separate servings to...give the illusion of "More for your money", it was absolutely not. The steak was lukewarm when served and a very small portion, just two bites. The sauce was the highlight of the dish. The flavour was ok but you could get a far superior, and full sized portion elsewhere. The salad was average , nothing special. On a positive note the frites were cooked perfectly, golden brown, crispy and delicious but I would argue that any average chef could cook them. I saw many reviews rating the staff as excellent but the particular staff member dealing with my table seemed disinterested- I unfortunately didn't have a nice experience In that regard. They had a great selection of wine which was a positive and relatively inexpensive. The dessert was the highlight of the night for me which is unfortunate considering this restaurant is known for their 'famous steak and frites'. I'd also like to add that they charge a service fee (20% in my particular location) which I found very distasteful , considering the total bill was already very high. If you are considering coming here as a once off then I would hope your experience is better than mine was. Just be aware of the mandatory service fee. Small portions and average food.More

Great staff

Waited for two hours outside as was intrigued. After being in Venice having incredible steak this was very different You are served a few pieces of thin sliced steak with a green sauce. Chips are served from large platters. Steak is either rare medium or...well and that’s literally the menu. The fact it’s so busy is I think people are intrigued by the queue. Dessert was nice. Meat eaters only.

Nice restaurant, good food and no messing. Seated within a few minutes we were asked how we want our steak - rare or medium, drink order taken. Few minutes later the drinks arrived followed by the walnut salad and a plate of bread. 5 minutes...later the steak turned up, with a side of fries, and then the special sauce, tasted great and went down well, once finished the waitress arrived the another round of steak, fries and sauce. Not rushed at any point. Didn’t need a dessert so paid bill and left. Would definitely recommend if you eat meat.More

Nice experience - Nice food

There is always a long queue. It tooks us an hour to get our table but it is in a nice street in Paris where you can people watch while queueing The service is super fast, well organized, clean restaurant, nice staff and good food....The butter sauce was delicious and the fries too. Good steak. I will go back. I am sure you can find something similar in Paris without the queue but we enjoyed the process so it was worthwhile for us.More

Great steak worth the wait in the line

Great formula just steak and chips. Steak is served in a very tasty sauce and portion sizes are decent. It’s very popular the line gets very long but it’s worth the wait. Get there half an hour before opening time to get a first sitting.
